Boys and men sometimes equate being gay with being effeminate...this can't be farther from the truth. Most gay and bi boys and men are typically masculine, and we are able to hide it effortlessly because in the general public, only effeminate sissies are seen as gay, not normal men. Between eachother, masculine gay and bi men, whether closeted or not, can recognize eachothers homosexual or bisexual orientation.

I agree with most the points being made. It would be nice to do some unpacking of why using a slur in the title and discussion was a choice the author makes. The same discussion could have been had without using a slur that still triggers older LGBTQ folx and younger ones alike. Maybe this is out of it's original context, but should be a consideration nonetheless.

At 6:06 our home is the one burning at 2205 charing court. We rebuilt and then moved a couple years later. It is still surreal to see it burn. I left the house about an hour or so before the video was shot. We lost our home but we are so thankful for the firefighters that fought the fire!
